Dear Bahá’í Friends,

The date fast approaches for the unveiling of the design of Canada’s national Bahá’í House of Worship, and we hasten to share news with you. First, the ceremony on 17 October at 2:00 p.m. ET will be livestreamed in both French and English, and a link will be shared closer to the date. Regrettably, the event itself must be limited to a modest number of invited guests representing the Bahá’í community of Canada, neighbours and dignitaries, but we hope that the friends will find ways to gather and share the livestreaming experience together, extending the reach of the occasion to embrace the country.

In addition, those who are within easy distance are lovingly invited to drop in to an open house that will be held on the grounds of the Bahá’í National Centre, 7200 Leslie Street, Thornhill, ON L3T 6L8 the following day, 18 October, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with brief devotional programs, planned by the children, at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Visitors will have an opportunity to see the model, speak with the architect and visit the Temple site. There will be no parking at the Bahá’í National Centre itself, so cars should be parked at the parking lot just down the road at the Don Valley Educational Centre.

Dear friends, we would appreciate your assistance in circulating this news to the friends in your communities and conveying to them our longing to be together in spirit on this historic occasion.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,
NATIONAL SPIRITUAL ASSEMBLY OF THE BAHÁ’ÍS OF CANADA
Karen McKye, Secretary
