Dear Bahá’í Friends,

We are delighted to share with you the attached letter dated 7 May 2026, written on behalf of the Universal House of Justice, regarding new pioneer goals for Canada in Martinique, St. Lucia and Ukraine. Kindly distribute this letter as widely as possible.

A key objective of the Nine Year Plan for Canada is to assist 17 countries to each raise up a strong third milestone cluster. The foremost strategy to achieve this goal is the deployment of teams of pioneers “who are familiar with the framework for action and are prepared to dedicate significant amounts of time and energy to serving the Cause over a number of years.” It is hoped that as the friends consider afresh the pressing need for pioneers, they also consult with one another on how each can contribute in some way, whether by arising to pioneer, through deputization, by lending support and encouragement to prospective pioneers, or by offering fervent prayers for the success of this work.

The countries still requiring at least one pioneer as part of the Nine Year Plan call are the following: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Dominica, Greenland, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Martinique, St. Lucia, Tunisia, and Ukraine. Those friends who have experience serving in a third milestone cluster—or who would be willing to gain such experience—and could potentially offer to serve as a pioneer are urged to contact their Auxiliary Board member, Regional Bahá’í Council, relevant Pioneer Task Force or the Pioneer Desk at the Bahá’í National Centre.

We ask all to join us in prayer and action that these mighty and crucial goals may be achieved as soon as possible in the second phase of the Nine Year Plan.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,
Nabet Fani, Assistant Secretary
