Dear Bahá’í Friends,
We are delighted to share with you the attached new compilation on the National Spiritual Assembly; as with other compilations received in recent years, we hope that it will be widely distributed to, and studied, by the friends. A French version will be circulated as soon as one is available. In its covering letter dated 31 October 2023 to all National Spiritual Assemblies, the Department of the Secretariat of the Universal House of Justice shared the following about this compilation:
“In light of the significant advances in recent years in the maturation and development of National Spiritual Assemblies, the Universal House of Justice asked the Research Department to prepare a compilation of extracts from the Bahá’í writings as well as from letters written on its behalf to assist the friends in acquiring a deeper understanding of the central role the National Spiritual Assembly plays in the World Order of Bahá’u’lláh and a greater appreciation of its significance….”
