Dear Bahá’í Friends,

We are very happy to share with you news of the appointment of the new Board of Trustees of Ḥuqúqu’lláh in Canada. Following are the five members appointed by the International Board of Trustees of Huqúqu’lláh to serve on the Board for the three-year term commencing 1 December 2017. The area of jurisdiction for this Board comprises Canada, Saint Pierre and Miquelon.

Mr. Bahram Gustaspi (Canada)
Mr. John MacLeod (Canada)
Mr. Bruce Moore (Canada)
Mrs. Donna Seyed Mahmoud (Canada)
Dr. Faran Vafaie (Canada)

In its letter to the National Spiritual Assembly announcing these appointments, the International Board of Trustees of Ḥuqúqu’lláh shared the following regarding their service:

The primary function of a Board of Trustees is to educate the friends on the spiritual significance of the mighty law of Ḥuqúqu’lláh, enabling them to better appreciate that obedience to this law is “bound to attract divine confirmations, heavenly blessings and incalculable favours, and to promote the manifold interests of the International Bahá’í Community”.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Board of Trustees directly, or the Representative serving your community, with any questions. We know that you will join the National Assembly in remembering these distinguished servants in your prayers.

With loving Bahá’í greetings,

[Signed: Karen McKye, Secretary]
