The passing of Bahram Gustaspi

Dear Bahá’í Friends,

The National Spiritual Assembly was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Bahram Gustaspi, a devoted, steadfast servant of the Cause.  At the time of his passing, Mr. Gustaspi was serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of Huqúqu’lláh in Canada and as its Secretary.  In addition to this honoured service, until very recently he shouldered responsibilities as a member of the Bahá’í Council of British Columbia for many years.

The following message was received today from the Universal House of Justice, and we invite you to join in offering prayers for this distinguished servant of Bahá’u’lláh, and for the comfort of his family.

“The Universal House of Justice was saddened to learn from your email letter dated 7 March 2022 (6 Loftiness 178) of the passing of Bahram Gustaspi, faithful follower of the Blessed Beauty. His many years of service to the Cause, including as a member of the Board of Trustees of Ḥuqúqu’lláh in Canada, are warmly remembered. Kindly convey to his wife as well as other family members and loved ones the heartfelt condolences of the House of Justice for the loss they have sustained and assure them of its supplications in the Sacred Shrines for the progress of his soul throughout the worlds of God and for their comfort and solace at this difficult time.”
