“Progress of the Temple Construction, Worship and Service – July 2014,” the sixth in a series of video newsreels showing the progress of the construction of the House of Worship in Santiago, Chile, is now available in English and Spanish on the official website. The newsreel describes recent developments in the construction of the House of Worship and the wider community’s rising consciousness about the significance of the temple and the connection between worship and service. It includes pictures and videos of the temple construction and the international team working on it, a visit of representatives of the Mapuche, an indigenous group in the area, and interviews with a range of people in the area, from municipal officials to junior youth animators.

Construction of the House of Worship began in November 2010. When completed, the edifice in Santiago will be the last of the Bahá’í Houses of Worship erected to serve an entire continent.
