Message regarding membership of the National Spiritual Assembly

Dear Bahá’í Friends,

            The National Spiritual Assembly has received a request from one of its members, Dr. Gerald Filson, to be permitted to relinquish his membership on the National Assembly, owing to the effects of advancing years and the increasing demands of service.

Having studied guidance, and confident this request has been made with the best interests of the Cause at heart, the Assembly has agreed to release Dr. Filson from service on the National Assembly with loving acknowledgement of and gratitude for his contributions to this institution as a member for the last eight years.  He will continue to serve until the election of the new Assembly at the National Convention, to be held 25-28 April this year.
