Message regarding membership of the Continental Board of Counsellors in Europe

Dear Bahá’í Friends,

We hasten to share with you the following message of today’s date from the Universal House of Justice to all National Spiritual Assemblies.  Kindly arrange for its distribution in your communities.

“For compelling personal reasons, Dr. Aistė Elijio has asked to be relieved of her responsibilities as a member of the Continental Board of Counsellors in Europe.  We have, with much regret, assented to her request.  Dr. Elijio has earned our profound gratitude for the contributions she has made to the work of the Faith as a Counsellor, and we pray for divine confirmations to surround her as she continues her valuable labours in other fields of service to the Cause.

“To fill the vacancy thus created, we announce the appointment of Mrs. Ana Maria Marian of Romania to the membership of the Continental Board of Counsellors in Europe for the remainder of the present term.”
