From the National Spiritual Assembly on the anniversary of the Martyrdom of the Báb
To the Bahá’ís of Canada
Dear Bahá’í Friends,
On the eve of the anniversary of the Martyrdom of the Báb, which begins at sunset on 9 July, the National Spiritual Assembly wished to send you as a token of its love this passage drawn from Bahá’u’lláh’s Súriy-i-Dhikr (Súrih of Remembrance). A fuller excerpt of this beautiful tribute to the Báb can be found in the recently-published book “Days of Remembrance” or on the Bahá’í Reference Library website.[1]
The National Assembly’s grateful prayers were offered for you at its meeting this past weekend, as we heard news from across the country of your many efforts to share with friends and associates “what it means for humanity that these two Luminaries rose successively above the horizon of the world”[2]. May your love for Them continue to inspire and strengthen you.
With loving Bahá’í greetings,
NATIONAL SPIRITUAL ASSEMBLY
OF THE BAHÁ’ÍS OF CANADA
