Bahá’í Councils 2017 – 2018

On 25 November, the Day of the Covenant, a new term of service began for Regional Bahá’í Councils in Canada. Councils are institutions that were brought into being by the Universal House of Justice to carry forward the teaching work and minister to the needs of a rapidly growing Bahá’í community.

The following individuals will be serving on Bahá’í Councils until November 2018:

Alberta

Terri Flanagan, Navid Hemmati, David Mockon, Helen Mirkovich-Kohm and Sina Misaghian.

Atlantic Provinces

Ryan Brennan, Stephen Gouthro, Mert Ozyonum, Wendi Ryan and Kelley Wright.

British Columbia

Regina Jonker, Charlene Antinuk, Lynn Smith, Dorsa Noureddin, Bahram Gustaspi, Anne Murray, Jelana Bighorn, Susan Ardekany and Chohre Rassekh.

Ontario

Nancy Lavoie, Brett Smith, Alex Arjomand, Jane Hoy, Patricia Cameron, Fu’ad Foroughi, Roya Mostaghim-Vaezi, Elena Toukan and Faran Vafaie.

Quebec

Gregory Fortin-Vidah, Laurie Zrudlo, Nabil Nakhostine, John MacLeod, Leyla Shodjai, Anne E. Skeaff, Lucie Dubé, Véronique Duval and Geneviève Labbé.

Saskatchewan and Manitoba

Ruben Beattie, Sally Greenough, Andrew Hatala, Dayan North and Elnaz Shadabi.
