New this year: ABS Pods
Although this year the conference is again online, that doesn’t mean that we have to forgo the energy and fellowship of an in-person event!
ABS Pods are small gatherings organized by individuals, groups, or institutions for their local community during/near the conference dates. Through the initiative and creativity of the friends, we hope to bring the spirit of a Bahá’í scholarly conference to our neighbourhoods.
If you are interested in organizing one for your friends, family, or community, please contact the ABS office at abs-na@bahaistudies.ca.
Summer workshops
ABS is offering two more sessions of our workshop on “Contributing to Academic and Professional Discourse” on Sunday August 7th and Sunday, August 28. The workshops provide the opportunity to study guidance on participation in discourses and on the evolving conceptual framework, and to share related experience. The Journal of Bahá’í Studies, where articles can be read and shared freely, is available online here: https://journal.bahaistudies.ca/online
