Message from the National Spiritual Assembly concerning details of Mr. Douglas Martin’s funeral

Dear Bahá’í Friends,

We are writing in response to the many inquiries being received concerning details of Mr. Douglas Martin’s funeral, which will take place early Friday afternoon, 2 October 2020. We enlist your assistance in sharing with the friends that, regrettably, because of current public health guidelines, attendance at the funeral service is limited to only those who have been asked to play a direct role in the program. The service will not be livestreamed. We recognize that many friends would have loved to honour Mr. Martin by participating in the funeral, and we hope that they will be solaced by the Universal House of Justice’s call for memorials in every community.
